June's embroidery class was such a success yesterday that I think we're going to have to start a whole line of embroidery classes with her. She will soon be at the top of an embroidery empire! Until then, look what she helped us learn to do: stem or outline stitch, lazy daisies, french knots, back stitch, running stitch, feather stitch, blanket stitch, whip stitch, herringbone stitch - and all in a beginning class! I have a feeling our members are going to start embroidering anything they can get their hands on. Grandchildren beware!

We had such a successful day at the Sew-Op today, thanks to the incredible guidance of Clydene Dyer. All five students finished a hoop purse and we laughed all the way to completion. "Mama J" brought her granddaughter, Nya, who contributed to the giggles and sweetness exponentially. Four year old Nya sand her ABCs and counted her 1, 2, 3s and had some pretty creative answers for questions such as, "Girl? Where did you come from?" "From my mama's house!" We look forward to having Clydene back for a class on quilting supply caddies on June 29th. Classes are $5 and some require registration. To learn more, send an email to bibandtuckersewop@gmail.com.
